Founder: Late Shri Laxmanraoji Inamdar

Late Shri Laxmanraoji Inamdar popularly known as Shri Vakil Saheb was born in Satara, a small village in Maharashtra, on the auspicious day of ‘Rushi Panchami’ – 21 Sept. 1917. From there he started his great journey as a freedom fighter and social worker. He completed his studies in LLB at Satara and decided to devote his life for the freedom of the nation. During this period he was imprisoned for seven months at Hyderabad in 1937 in the struggle for freedom.

He came to Gujarat as a “Pracharak” Of R.S.S. till 1951. He continued his mission for the service of the nation and soon became “Prant Pracharak” and later rose to “Kshetra Pracharak” of Gujarat – Maharashtra – Goa in 1973 and thereafter was a treasurer. His leadership in R.S.S. of Gujarat contributed a lot for the development of R.S.S. work in the state.

He provided good leadership and guidance to the workers during the emergency declared by Mrs. Indira Gandhi in 1975. He inspired the workers to fulfill his cherished dream to have a good residential school, which could provide good education with self development and instill Sanskars to develop patriotism and national spirit.
